The Redcliffe Junior Rugby Union Club (RJRUC) was established over 10 years ago. It fielded 5 teams. The number of teams has since grown each year & in 2014, it started with 13 teams. The junior rugby union club has been at several venues including Filmer Park Woody Pt, Southern Cross College & the Redcliffe Showground. In 2007, it secured a lease & associated sports field user agreement with the Council to base itself at Frawley Fields Clontarf. The club has worked closely with Council, other sport & recreation groups on the peninsula in order to improve the facilities at the site.
