Slipstream Brewing was established in 2016 with the brewery commissioned in May 2017. Beer started flowing to the trade after a Launch at The Scratch Bar in June. In August Slipstream opened it’s cellar door at the brewery site in Yeerongpilly.
The brewery is recognised as Independent as the brewer was founded and owned by the Stanley-Hunt family. Slipstream is a production brewery with cellar door/bar. The concept was inspired by family trips to the US honey mooning, attending the US Home Brewers Conference or just being a beer tourist with a touch of sight seeing. The West Coast style pales, XPAs and IPAs got us hooked on hops.
