Solbar Pty Ltd is proud to present the original and the best live music venue on the Sunshine Coast, Solbar. With the aim of providing a sophisticated venue space with the ability to cater to all styles of artistic expression Solbar will blend cutting edge sound design with atmosphere and performances that are second to none.

The new management team have the ability to draw on the vast knowledge and experience of the original Solbar proprietors and team, making this new venue at Ocean Street in Maroochydore as much a revival of a Coast icon as a step into an exciting new era of Sunshine Coast music and arts.

After a substantial refit the venue now includes two separate bars, both of which are open Wednesday to Sunday from the 1st of April 2011. The first, a street-fronted cocktail bar - the Solbar lounge will be open for trade five days a week - and the second, the band room, showcasing high class musicians and performers of all genres.

The walls are adorned with the history of the venue and talents of local and national artists and photographers. With Solbar reopening with a 3am license, the coast is again set to see some of the best national and international acts take its stage.

Since opening its doors in 2001, Solbar has become the original and the best live music place on the coast. The only to offer live music every night.
