Map showing South Coast Folk Club

South Coast Folk Club is one of the biggest and most popular in the near Adelaide area. It is not unusual to walk into one of our free Thursday night sessions to find upwards of forty or fifty musicians, singers, storytellers, supporters and visitors all joining in the fun! You will find people from all walks of life, young and old, often from many parts of the world. The emphasis is on sharing - while there are quite a few experienced musicians associated with the Club, they are only too happy to welcome and listen to raw beginners at the sessions and perhaps give a few pointers. If you're in Adelaide on a Thursday night, why not take a drive down the coast and join us - you'll certainly be made welcome! Our free sessions are held from 8pm till midnight at the Port Noarlunga Bowling Club, Hunt Park, River Road, Port Noarlunga.

Apart from the weekly come-all-ye sessions, the Club also presents regular concerts - often featuring touring International & Interstate performers. We also publish a quarterly newsletter which can be downloaded from this website. Please take the time to browse our website, where you'll find news about what's happening around the local folk scene, feature articles, lots of photos of local folkies at play & performers who have played at the Club and some useful links to other Australian folk music websites.
