Spencers Brook Farm specialises in rare breed pigs and have both Berkshires and Saddleback pigs on the farm along with rare breed Long Horned Wiltshire sheep and Dexter cattle.
They are a genuine paddock to plate enterprise, processing all meat through a licensed butchery and selling products directly to customers at Farmers' Markets on the weekend.
Spencers Brook Farm is run by Annie and Neil Kavanagh, two English expats who purchased a "hobby farm" in 2002 which soon became a full time business. Their passion is producing food that tastes good and comes from animals that have had a happy and meaningful existence.
