The Ginger Factory has been around for 40 years and is still going strong. Occupying a nine hectare site at Yandina, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, it is the world's largest operating ginger factory within a themed tourist park that promotes ginger and associated products. Key elements of our tourist operations are our Ginger Story tour, a 100 year old cane train which still runs tours, a popular Overboard Boat Ride, the "Super Bee" attraction, heritage display and many other tourist-related offerings such as a newly renovated cafe, six Ginger Town retail shops and ice creamery.
The Ginger Factory is a multi-award winning tourism venue acclaimed for such things as our Overboard animated puppetry attraction featuring over 200 handmade moving puppets and outstanding tropical ornamental ginger heliconia themed gardens.
