The Old Auction House is an independently owned and managed arts precinct in the regional Victorian town of Kyneton, just 1 hour north of Melbourne. The precinct is housed in a 130 year old building and has 2 gallery spaces, a retail outlet specialising in Australian handmade goods, and working artist studios. The entire precinct has been renovated to accommodate mobility issues and is suitable for prams, walkers, and wheelchairs.

Exhibitions in the gallery spaces are free to view with the space open 7 days, except Dec 25 - Jan 1 inclusive. The Main Gallery shows a range of mediums and styles of art for artists at all stages in their careers, while the Studio Gallery space is reserved for exhibitions of emerging artists, community groups, and the resident artists.

Short courses, classes and events are run throughout the space in a wide range of arts including leadlighting, fused glass, mosaics, polymer clay, acrylic pouring, and much more. Classes run for all ages and experience including school holidays.

All inquires on running your own activity in our space should be directed via email to The Old Auction House.
