The Wolf and I

The Wolf and I in Windsor, opened its doors in September 2012, offering the coldest beer in Melbourne, an eclectic, Scandinavian-inspired interior unlike anything else the city has seen, great Aussie pub grub and a firm focus on affordable hospitality.

Located at 152 Chapel Street, Windsor on an historic site once occupied by the old Swan Hotel, the highly contemporary fit-out combines the best of old and new.

Behind the classic 1870’s façade, the warmly inviting, richly eclectic interior features a host of original features: exposed bricks brick walls, timber ceilings and an underground beer cellar that has been restored back to its original state.

Our stylish fit-out also features furnishings and fittings from the likes of Herman Miller and Julien-Henri Porche, a cool Wolf Mannequins created by Danish artist Philip V Jensen (whose work appears in the Danish National Gallery), a feature wall of 60-plus Singer sewing machines, a talking point across Melbourne.
