Townsville Brewery

For over one hundred years, the old Townsville Post Office has watched over the evolving city and has been the epicentre for community activity since first being built. From its early days as the postal and telephone office, to it being the military communications headquarters during World War 2 and then back to postal office after the war.

A new chapter in the building’s history began in 2001 with the redevelopment of the iconic landmark into a brewery, restaurant and function centre.
