Wattleview Primary School

Wattleview Primary School was established in 1971 and is located at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges in Ferntree Gully and offers its students a safe and secure environment. Its current student population is around 220 students. The area is such that the school caters for a very mixed social demographic which continues to change each year.

The school comprises three permanent wings with features of the school including:

- Gymnasium
- Performing Arts/Music Centre
- Visual Arts Centre
- Computer Learning Centre
- Resource/Project Room
- Library

In 2013 the school was granted a $4m building project which is now complete. The works included a refurbishment to classrooms in our Building B which also houses our Art Room, Gym and Music room. There is also a new building (containing administration and student learning areas). There are new basketball/netball faclities and large grounds for the students to enjoy a range of outdoor activities.

The Wattleview school community is actively involved in school programs, maintenance and improvements. The grounds provide abundant space for active and passive recreation in a picturesque setting. Improved buildings and Learning Technology hardware and software have prepared Wattleview for a well-resourced and bright future.
