Wine by Sam

Founded by husband and wife team Sam Plunkett and Bron Dunwoodie in 2012, Wine by Sam is a family owned winery based in Seymour, Central Victoria. While our winery is relatively young, its vinous history dates back to 1968—the year our winemaker Sam was born—and when his dad, Alan Plunkett, planted the first vines in the Strathbogie Ranges.

Elevated and cool region is pretty magical (not that we’re biased or anything!) for growing intense, highly aromatic fruit. And with nearly 30 years’ experience and dozens of awards to his name, Sam is a master at bringing these grapes to life in wines that give you a real flavour of the Strathbogie Ranges spirit.
