Wyong Neighbourhood Centre is one of the longest running neighbourhood centre's on the Central Coast and has been providing services to the community since 1979. It all started in the 1970’s. Wyong had many new families who, as a result of moving to the area, were isolated from their extended family. Wyong Neighbourhood Centre was founded in 1979 under the name of Marian's Place at Wyong shopping centre to give people a place to meet people and connect with their community.
