At the southern entry to the township is a large open reserve area that is home to a modern skate park. Further within the reserve is a challenging BMX track that along with the skate park, is a welcoming attraction to the township. Being just a short walk from the shops and primary school, it is often an afternoon meeting spot for local and visiting youth.
