Summer Cinema

From ancient plays at the Theatre of Dionysus to Hollywood classics at Cine Thisio, open air theatres are a long-standing and much loved Greek tradition. At the annual Summer Cinema, the Hellenic Museum brings a slice of this great pastime to Melbourne!

Join us over three Saturdays as the leafy Museum courtyard comes to life with family favourite films, classic movie snacks and delicious Greek street food. Doors open from 6.30PM to enjoy food and drinks, with screenings starting shortly after sunset – approx. 8.30PM.

Sat 18 Feb – Alice in the Navy (Η Αλίκη στο ναυτικό)*
Sat 25 Feb – O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Sat 4 Mar – The Auntie from Chicago (Η θεία από το Σικάγο)*
