The film directed by Peter Chan and starring Gong Li, Huang Bo, Wu Gang, Peng Yuchang, and Bai Lang tells the inspiring story of tenacious efforts and determination of the Chinese national women’s volleyball team of several generations.
The film won the 33rd Golden Rooster Awards 2020 for the Best Picture and Best Cinematography and the 19th China Huabiao Film Awards 2023 for the Best Screenplay.
