In support of their recently released debut album 'Memories...Do Not Open', Grammy Award-winning global sensation The Chainsmokers are set for a four-date tour this October. The duo teased fans with an idea of a tour Down Under on the latter part of the year in one of their recent interviews and now, they made it official.

Kicking off at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, EDM brothers Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall will be making their way to Melbourne for a performance at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. They will also return to Sydney, where they had a free gig last April that had to be stopped due to fans flooding the stage. This time around, it will be at a bigger venue that can accomodate a huge number of fans—Sydney Showground. The tour will culminate at the Brisbane Riverstage.

The Chainsmokers have indeed dominated the airwaves worldwide with their string of chart-topping hits including 'Roses', 'Closer' and 'Don't Let Me Down'. Forming in 2012, The Chainsmokers got their headway in 2014 with the release of their single '#Selfie'. Three years past and they now have a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for their song 'Don't Let Me Down', five awards from iHeart Radio, American Music Award for Favourite Electronic Dance Music Artist, a cult following on social media as well as headline shows in different parts of the world.

The Chainsmokers also became one of only three groups in history to have three singles—'Closer', Coldplay Collaboration 'Something Just Like This' and 'Paris'—simultaneouly in the Billboard's Hot 100 Top 10 list. The other two groups were The Beatles and the Bee Gees.
