The Ryder-Cheshire Ivanhoe Home was established in 1981 to provide friendly, low cost accommodation for people from country areas, interstate or overseas who are attending hospitals in Melbourne for medical treatment. Family members and/or carers may also be accommodated.
The Ivanhoe Home is run by the Ryder-Cheshire Victorian Homes Foundation which is an independent, not-for-profit organisation registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission.
