From exotic wool chandeliers handcrafted by local fashion designer Katelyn Aslett, to the hand-laid ornate gilded plasterwork, the lobby bar sets the scene for a most memorable occasion. Enter through the ornate hand carved wooden doors and you are surrounded with the charm and character that only a timeless, century old building can offer. Welcome to your banquet room, adorned in richness and an abundance of natural light from heritage doors that lead onto the large colonial balconies.

Built in 1886, The Banquet Centre’s backdrop is steeped in history yet provides state of the art audio and visual capabilities including an integrated DJ console, dance floor and visual presentation system.

The Banquet Centre accommodates formal banquet seating for up to 180 guests or 250 guests in a more relaxed cocktail setting. The Banquet Centre has also been designed to host boutique conferences, meetings, lectures, trade shows and specialised corporate events.
