The Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Festival is a unique community event that promotes and celebrates physically active lifestyles for people of all abilities.

The festival offers Victorians with, and without, disability the opportunity to explore and experience accessible and inclusive sport and recreation through hands-on activities and information sharing.
Featuring over 30 exhibitors and three activity zones, you can come and try different inclusive sport and recreational activities and learn about programs you can get involved with in your community.
Watch teams battle it out in the AFL Wheelchair Corporate Challenge, meet Paralympians, interact with giant wheelchair puppets or watch/listen to the Vision Australia Radio live broadcast.

You can also witness the Law Enforcement Torch Run, with up to 200 police and Special Olympics Athletes running from the Victoria Police Centre with the Flame of Hope to light the cauldron at the festival. Come and celebrate International Day of People with Disability by getting active!

Find out who's exhibiting at the festival and what activities will be available at the Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Festival website.

We encourage everyone to arrive by public transport, walking, rolling or cycling, where possible.
Accessibility at the festival. Auslan interpreters will be available at the festival. If you would like an interpreter to help you communicate with exhibitors or take part in activities, please visit us at the information marquee.

We will have a water station onsite—bring your re-usable water bottle and fill up! Remember to put your rubbish in the bins provided—we’re aiming for an environmentally friendly event.

The festival is supported by City of Melbourne, the Carbine Club, WorkSafe Victoria, VicHealth and Craig Wetjen Photography.
