Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of his most popular works, performed all around the world. Yet the comedic love story of marriage and fairies in the forest gets a modern makeover for St Stephen’s School Duncraig’s upper-school theatrical production.
"Our upcoming production will be a moveable feast taking audiences on a journey from our theatre to out under the trees, with musical treats and creative gypsies," Production Director Daniel Ramsay said.
The plot follows the adventures of four young lovers and a group of amateur actors, with some mischievous visitors thrown in for good measure.
"It will be a night like no other—a Midsummer night."
