It’s time for one more bush event with a full moon, the course will be located off the Cox Peninsula Road less than an hour’s drive from Darwin/Palmerston. The area has plenty of natural features and a few tracks so we are going to include a mountain bike event in conjunction with those intrepid adventurers on foot.
The area has some unique parallel ridges, and undulating surrounding country. Rogaining is a sport of cross-country navigation involving both route planning and navigation between checkpoints using a map. Teams of 2–5 people choose which checkpoints to visit with a time limit with the intent of maximizing their score. Entry fees include unique highly detailed navigational event maps, setting vetting, insurance, free camping and evening meal with the option of breakfast on the Sunday morning.
