Culoe De Song (Innervisions/De Song Music/SA).

Introduced to his native South Africa via Black Coffee‘s Soulistic Music imprint in 2007, Culoe De Song has since taken the world by storm gracing the stage of some of the world’s finest clubs, festivals and events, while his unique Afro-tinged take on electronic music has been championed on labels like Innervisions, Kompakt, Mule Musiq, as well as on Soulistic and his own De Song Music.

Culoe’s serious music career began in early 2007 where he produced a piece that made him a feature in Black Coffee’s second offering, “Have Another One”. The track was named “100 Zulu Warriors” & carries a fundamental importance for Culoe De Song as he regards it as ‘his beginning’ in the circle of music in South Africa.

To further enhance his reputation as an upcoming talent in 2008, Culoe was selected to be one of the worldwide participants of the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, Spain. This was soon followed by His genre-defining single The Bright Forest from his 2009 debut, A Giant Leap, also featuring the equally iconic WeBaba on the highly regarded German label Innervisions which also boasts a family of acts such as Dixon, Ame & Henrik Schwarz.

In 2011 he released his album Elevation followed by Exodus in 2013 and Washa in 2016 plus a host of singles that have turned worldwide dancefloors inside out including the likes of Y.O.U.D., No Contest, Judgement Day, Poki Returns, Bang Royales & the ‘video game inspired’ Rambo.
