All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon 2019

Returning for it’s 8th year, the Aquathlon and Triathlon provide both an entry level opportunity and school region selection level event for kids aged 7–18. Our event is run on a safe course with water safety, closed roads and smooth paths. The Lake Kawana location showcases some of the best sporting facilities in the area.

The day begins with the run/swim/run format for kids aged 7–9 & 10–11, with distances varying dependant on age. Following the Aquathlon, triathletes take over the precinct with a swim/bike/run format for kids aged 12–18.

Kids Aquathlon
For ages 7–9 (DOB 2012–2010)
500m run, 100m swim, 500m run

Primary Aquathlon
For ages 10–11 (DOB 2009–2008)
1km run, 200m swim, 1km run

Junior Triathlon
For ages 12–13 (DOB 2007–2006)
300m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run

Intermediate Triathlon
For ages 14–15 (DOB 2005–2004)
500m swim, 15km cycle, 4km run

Senior Triathlon
For ages 16–18 (DOB 2003–2001)
750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run
