Artmarket@Deanmore

Now in its fourth year, this established event brings together a curated selection of businesses with a focus on art, crafts and handmade products by local artisans. There is something for everyone, from SMArt competition, entertainment and performances, food trucks, stalls and plenty of carnival rides for the kids.

Stalls
A huge variety of local artisan stall holders providing a range of hand crafted gift ideas, items for the home, clothing, accessories and skin care products. Also for your perusal and shopping pleasure, we have many local artist displaying their creations in their own mini-galleries. There is something for almost everyone, come and get all your christmas shopping done, and support our local talented creatives!

Food
The Seahorse Cafe will be open at artMarket@Deanmore! This years’ menu includes a kid friendly sausage sizzle and there will also be food trucks offering a range of international cuisines. Vegetarian and Gluten Free options will be available too.

The Deanmore Mums will be baking up a sweet storm, cupcakes, slices and cakes homemade and perfect to have with an afternoon coffee from our local coffee van. There will also be plenty of treat options in the form of candy floss, or snow cones.

smArt – Student Made Art!
An art competition for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The theme for this year is “In My Backyard”.

This year any primary aged children in the local area can enter. Students will compete in developmentally appropriate age groups, all artwork must include a short written statement about the artwork and how it interprets this year’s theme. An adult may assist in writing this statement but the words used must be the students own.

Entertainment
Our Deanmore community has worked tirelessly to come up with many exciting games and fun gold coin activities to entertain young and old! We will be providing all he fun of the fair with carnival rides including the ferris wheel, multiple giant inflatable obstacle course, and a silent disco.

Humpy Camels will join us on the night too. Come and meet and ride Ruby and Daisy, or have a ride on the camel train.
