BADideas: Redefining Authentic Design

How do we define notions of originality and authenticity in art and design in an increasingly complex world?

Hosted by ABC Radio’s Rebecca Levingston, the panel will feature timely and insightful reflections from speakers Amanda Lear (Gilimbaa Creative Director/Co-Founder), Jason Bird (Luxxbox Founder and Creative/Managing Director), Sam Daley (Liquid Interactive Product Design Director), Claire Sourgnes (artisan CEO) and Elisa Jane Carmichael (Artist).

These design leaders will explore topics that range from culturally-informed design processes and commercial copying practices, to maintaining authenticity in a digital environment and co-opting the values of the bespoke and handcraft by the broader design community.
