On May 5th, to celebrate Anthony Pasquill’s 10th year as Artistic and Musical Director, Bel a cappella will present James MacMillan’s, Sun-Dogs. This extraordinary work abounds in striking vocal effects: rapid chanting doubling the held notes of a simple four-part choral progression, deep breathing, whistling, free-floating heterophony and ‘stage whispered’ toneless rhythmic chanting…it's truly not to be missed.
