Shaun Parker & Company present the reprise of the much-loved production, Blue Love. Dance company founder, Shaun Parker will be returning to the stage with his original dance partner, Jo Stone, for this exciting regional tour.
Seamlessly blending intense physical theatre, comedy and dance, Blue Love takes audiences on a journey to discover the perfect relationship in a performance that challenges the clichés of marriage, romance and suburbia. The comical performance explores the manifestation of love in high art and pop culture and through renowned pop songs, iconic film and theatre moments.
Adding to the theatre of the performance, Shaun Parker & Company will integrate the local community choir into the Blue Love performance. Taking direction from Bek Jensen of the Welcome Choir, local regional talent will bring their skills to the stage for an emotive rendition of Pat Benatar’s Love is a Battlefield during the show.
