Bridge Building – STEM Learning

In the world of STEM learning there is nothing more concrete than bridges!

Fully qualified teachers will introduce children to the fascinating world of bridges. The workshop will explore the basic principles in the design and construction of bridges. They will learn about the evolution of bridge design and discover the entertaining history of bridges, from the triumphant to the disastrous.

Through hands-on activities, students will engage with the basic science and maths principles used in bridge design. The workshop will culminate in the children designing, building, and testing their own bridge, bringing to life their new knowledge and providing them with an inspiring and practical introduction to the fields of engineering and architecture.
