Following on from our successful Gianni Schicchi and Cavalleria Rusticana season, what next for Canberra Opera? Our final opera recital for the year is planned for Saturday 26th October, with Clare Therese Hedley as the featured artist and Nathanael Patterson and Katrina Wiseman as associate artists. The "Mozart and friends" themed recital will focus on the operas of Mozart and his influence on other composers.

About Clare Therese Hedley
Clare studied drama at the ANU, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts/Law. During her time at university, her roles included Viola in Twelfth Night, Ruth in Cosi and a solo and group performer in the cabaret performance All About Love. Clare has participated in various masterclasses and recitals, including a weeklong opera workshop in Sydney run by Ghillian Sullivan in 2015. Clare has been involved with Canberra Opera since 2016 and was a part of the chorus in their 2017 production of Die Fledermaus. Clare took on her first principal role with Canberra Opera as Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte in 2018.
