Charlotte Thompson

Charlotte Rose is a young Northern Beaches-based musician with a big heart. Armed with "a guitar that speaks" and a compelling, emotional presence, she tells stories—traversing the sounds of Folk, Indie, Blues and Pop in her originals and covers. From Folk Festivals at the far corners of NSW to Sydney's classic hole-in-the-wall spaces, to busking on the streets—Charlotte’s versatile "nightingale" voice never fails to draw a crowd.

Charlotte recently had success with her songwriting, placing first at the ACU CAPA National Showcase. She has recently appeared at venues such as the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Newport, and is a regular performer each year at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
