The 10th Anniversary Season of Newcastle's Christ Church Camerata comes to an end with three of the greatest musical works ever written. The concert opens with Mendelssohn's beautiful overture "The Hebrides", followed by the same composer's sparkling Violin Concerto—with former Newcastle violinist Susan Collins as soloist. Then Artistic Director David Banney and the Camerata will present the season's grand finale: Beethoven's magnificent 8th Symphony.
