Community Day

Whether you’re a visitor or a local, everyone is welcome to experience an afternoon of family water fun at the Angelo Anestis Aquatic Aquatic Centre’s annual Free Community Day. A staple of the Bayside community, the Centre will open the turnstiles with free entry from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 5th October.

Our local swimming pools inspire community activity, are a place where communities gather and local kids learn to swim. As we are one stroke closer to Summer, the free Community Day provides families the opportunity to become familiar with the aquatic facilities available, while swim instructors will be on hand for parents to learn about the Centre’s unique swim programs.

Little and big water babies will have a splashing good afternoon discovering the perfect pool. From tiny tots dipping their toe in the zero depth splash pad to keen swimmers conquering inflatables, diving into the 25m indoor and 50m outdoor pools or doing laps.
