Containment Field – Exhibition Opening

COMA is pleased to invite you to the opening of Containment Field, a group presentation that will also mark the launch of a new gallery location. We would love for you to join us on the opening night to celebrate both the exhibition opening and the new space.

In Containment Field, states of transition or modes of restraint are examined. The presentation explores conditions of holding during these transitory periods whether physical or otherwise—from digital image transference, to sex and gender experiences, to Soviet tattooing rituals. Containment Field seeks to explore these points of uncertainty and reveal the sense of freedom that comes with potential resolution.

Artists included are Manuel Burgener, Andre Hemer, Anna McMahon, Spence Messih, Adam Stone, Jelena Telecki.
