How do we best prepare young Australians for the creative industry’s workforce for the future? Learn from Business and Education leaders involved in the creative industry on how to from strong and sustainable relationships to benefit young Australian’s in Primary and Secondary school.

Creative Engagement with Education brings together representatives from Business and Education to share their wisdom in creating active and mutually beneficial partnerships to support young Australians prepare for the workforce of the future. Through a panel discussion and an engaging workshop we will share a framework to establish and manage these relationships, programs and resources effectively. Gain insights from business leaders and head of Education on how they have established mutually beneficial partnerships that support and nurture the future workforce.

Business’s role in Education:
How do businesses in the creative industry maximise their engagement with Primary and Secondary School Education? How do effective Education and Business sector relationships get established? What are the key aspects of program and resource design that will maximise business objectives? Many businesses struggle providing appropriate and timely programs and resources for school education. Business leaders will share some of the opportunities and challenges their Education Programs have faced when engaging with Schools.

Education’s role in Business:
It is an interesting time in Education. Preparing our students for the workforce of the future throws up some exciting opportunities and also challenges. Increasingly, Education is seeking support and advice from Business on how best to shape the learning in schools to maximise student’s participation in a rapidly changing world. Education leaders will share their priorities when it comes to school education and preparing students for the future.

Workshop outcomes:
- Listen to Head of Education and Business leaders on their sustainable partnerships on topics such as mentoring, work experience, program design, development, and implementation.
- Network with Educators and businesses that are establishing or have already established working partnerships
- Take away a framework that you can use to support your School engagement programs
This workshop aims to bring both Business and the Education Sector together to share their ideas and formulate sustainable, cost effective and targeted programs and resources. This is a unique networking event where business and education will collaborate and be exposed to the opportunities and challenges presented by each sector.
