Creative Writing Workshop

These July holidays, THYNK Academy will be hosting a creative writing workshop at Fairwater. Fully qualified teachers will help the children develop a deep understanding of the writing process and support the use of simple yet effective creative writing tools to allow students to write their own story.

The engaging program introduces the children to critically acclaimed literature and mixed media to illustrate the writing concepts. The children will participate in short drama activities to focus their awareness so that they may paint with their voice and compose with their bodies.

The creative writing workshop is designed to inspire children's imagination, instil a love a literature and guide students through the use of a structured writing plan. The children will employ the techniques learnt during the workshop to compose their personal creative writing story that they will take home at the end of the day.
