Dan Barnett and His Amazing 14-Piece Big Band

This year, Dan & the band, perform on the 3rd Wed of the month. Singer Trombonist and Shellman Dan Barnett and his amazing 14 piece big band headline the last Wednesday of the month at Lazybones. With an enviable reputation as a musician and band leader Dan is constantly touring Australia and the world with gigs this year already at the Havana jazz festival "Jazz Plaza" Cuba and "Sancy Snow Jazz" in France.

The band plays tunes from their 4 studio Albums and draws on Dan's huge big band repertoire from the 1930s, to the current day ever changing but always fun. Swing, Latin, Boogaloo, Funk and all the juicy bits in between. You never know who is going to drop by and sit in either. Expect the unexpected!
