Dillion James comes back to where it all started almost 30 years ago. After wearing the Blues and White stripes with Ipswich Brothers juniors from the age of 6 till 12, it is lucky that Dillion is back playing playing music at the new club house, considering his ear was ripped off in under 7's (true story). Losing grand finals in 95' and 96', this free entry event is sure to tie up all the loose ends of the past and finish with a victory.
Dillion and band have been one of SEQ's hardest working blues bands for the last several years, playing a unique blend of New Orleans Funk and Blues-Reggae that keeps crowds bopping and taps flowing.
Dillion's ability to tickle the ivories is very well respected within the industry. After many years working in the engine room with front men Blind Dog Donnie, Mojo Webb, 8ball Aitken and more, Dillion has been centre stage since winning the BASEQ blues performer of the year in 2010.
With his new look band consisting of young guns Jacob Petersen on the skins and Matt Beagley on guitar, they are a class act and no doubt will be on fire for this special 25 year reunion.
