Dis-connected

Dis-connected comes to Australia after a successful Edinburgh Fringe 2018 run. Dis-connected is an immersive visual theatre experience using multi-disciplinary mediums, such as dance, spoken words, physical theatre and visual arts. The piece emerges from the artist's first-hand experience of emotional walls and psychological detachment due to emotional and mental pain of intense past experiences.

It will explores the concept of "emotional walls" and how they affect us, the hardship of choosing your identity in face of rejection and ostracism. It's inspired by some of the principles of ISTDP (intensive short term dynamic psychotherapy) and revisiting some of the elements of the well known ancient Greek legend of the Minotaur and Theseus.
