Earth Hour 2019 is scheduled for 8:30pm on Saturday the 30th of March. It started in Sydney in 2007 and has since grown into a global movement with over 190 countries taking part each year. As its origin, this country sets the tone for other countries taking part.

By signing up to switch off, you also have the chance to go into the draw to win an Intrepid Travel trip to Western Australia and Ningaloo Reef. Sign up to switch off, and joining millions of people in over 190 countries to show the need for stronger climate action.

Australia is home to some of the world’s most iconic and breathtaking natural landscapes and wildlife. But climate change is putting all this at risk. To protect our unique species and their habitats, we need Australia to step up now and take stronger action on the promise we made at the 2015 Paris Agreement.
