Ever had a dream? Wanted to follow your passion? But in the end a little voice in your head stops you from going for it? Classical Theatre with a Latino flavour, Maria wants to sing for you and conquer that negative voice with her songs. El Vito! a one woman show takes us on a journey with music from Brazil, Spain and France.

Opera singing without the Opera! Maria with her passionate operatic singing has thrilled audiences in Queensland. Instead of opera arias you are given catchy, passionate songs from Brazil, Spain and France. In movie star style, Giada appears on film giving her point of view, “What is the point?” she asks.

Mari-Poša, mezzo-soprano and creator of El Vito! Is passionate about languages, art song and singing. After living in Europe and traveling the world she is now in Australia eager to share her love of different cultures and languages through song.

“In creating El Vito! I wanted to find a way to make all this incredibly beautiful music absolutely accessible to everyone. Julian my partner in crime is an amazing pianist, he moves me incredibly with his playing. His presence in the show represents Maria’s desire to keep singing and perform her songs. Together they give you their hearts through music in the hope that Giada will give back Maria’s dream.”

El Vito! a unique theatre experience, 50 minutes of Classical Theatre in its purest form. Be uplifted by amazing music and singing. The show debuts in Melbourne on March the 11th 2019 running for one week only at The Butterfly Club.
