Ella, where Elizabeth meets La Trobe, is hosting an intimate cocktail learning session for Melburnians to experiment with unique ingredients and learn how to make a world-class Highball.

Orlando Marzo, the Diageo World’s Best Bartender in 2019, will show guests his trade secrets on how to construct an unforgettable Highball cocktail in an interactive and educational drinks lab session at Worksmith, Ella.

Post cocktail curation, attendees head downstairs to the cosy ambience of Byrdi to indulge in a specialty Highball made by the internationally renowned co-owner and bar operator, Luke Whearty. His locally foraged, botanically infused cocktails will range from smoked Davidson Plum to Strawberry Gum Kombucha and Smoked Yarra Valley Pear. A big yes from us.
