Sweet songs, heavy grooves and intricate instrumentals with two of Australia’s most dynamic young female musicians.

Emily-Rose & the Wild Things
Nu-jazz prog folk pop project, Emily-Rose and the Wild Things, deliver an earthy, profound fusion of acoustic and electric worlds, fronted by Sydney songstress Emily-Rose Sarkova on keys, synths and vocals.

Emily-Rose has, over the years, glided between jazz, folk, classical and tango styles with groups such as Chaika, Tangalo, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Monsieur Camembert, Marais Project, Chris Cody’s Astrolab and Rhythm Hunters, performing nationwide as well as touring Europe and South America. As front-woman in this quintet incarnation, the wild things in her head are let loose in lush songs and instrumentals.

Think Hiromi meets Punch Brothers meets Snarky Puppy and they all have tea with Joni Mitchell in an alternate universe—with Nick Henderson on bass, Chloe Kim on drums, Chris Stone on violin and Luke Chapman on guitar.

Vendulka
Make no mistake—Vendulka is an artist that can hold her own, with her most recent release ‘Good Words’ having just been announced as a semi finalist for the Listen Up 2019 Songwriting Prize. From topping the singer/songwriter charts, to opening for Pete Murray, and touring internationally all before she could take her first legal drink- Vendulka is an artist that shows no signs of slowing down.

Vendulka also appeared on the 2019 season of The Voice. Her unique version of Culture Club’s ‘Karma Chameleon’ proved to be a crowd favourite with over 1.7 million views online (and still climbing!).

Don’t miss your chance to experience Vendulka's haunting vocals and emotive storytelling for yourself.

"Her fragile but powerful voice has been heralded by many audiences - including the likes of Jon Bon Jovi—and has led to being a support act for artists such as Pete Murray, The Paperboys and The Audreys." - Triple J Unearthed
