Entrepreneurship is similar to boxing. You train for a while and start to think your good. Then the coach says your only good on the bags, now it’s sparing time. Then you cop a couple of punches and you have to reassess if the sport is for you.

Some get out of the ring never to return. Others stick at it. When you start to think you’re good at sparing, you start to prepare for your first fight where you really get to test your skills. Many get the sh&$t beaten out of them and cop many hits all for the idea of holding their hands up with a win.

After the first fight and many hard hits, many more decide to give up. For those who stay in the ring, the opponents get harder but for those who focus on the prize of holding their hands up with the next win, the sport becomes addictive. Over the years those who keep going get hit hard and often but they love the game.
