Father's Day Event

On Father’s Day, Sunday, 1st September, as we come together to celebrate our marvellous fathers, Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens will help North Shore and Sydney families who have lost their paternal figures honour and connect with loved ones through a special event. All are invited to commemorate those who have proceeded us with a non-denominational service and special opportunities for memorials.

Richard Ackland, Family Services Manager at Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens says, “In our role as carers of the Northern Suburbs community, we think it’s important that everyone has a place to remember the amazing dads who are no longer with us in body, but are ever-present in spirit and memory, and very much loved and missed by those who are here to remember them.”

This event was devised by the team at Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens, and is held proudly in collaboration with Guardian Funerals North Ryde, to support people celebrating the lives of their fathers and grandfathers, while connecting with others who are going through a similar experience.

“In today’s society where we all lead busy lives, we hope to provide a time of joy for our neighbours, and a place where families can unite to reminisce about the good times,” concludes Richard Ackland.
