Felt Pod Workshop

Using merino wool fibre, you will learn how to make a gorgeous three dimensional felt pod using a resist technique with Rhonda Rettke.

Rhonda Rettke is a fibre artist whose artwork has many facets, all revolving around felt and textiles. She loves to combine felt, fabric, paper, wax, stitch, dye and print in her work. The tactile quality of fibre, working with her hands, and the bodily rhythm of making, sculpting and shaping the fibre is a major part of why Rhonda loves to work with felt. Rhonda had always been fascinated by intricate detail of nature and the work that she produces, celebrates an essence of what she feels and experiences in the natural landscape.
