Fireglow, Oxford Poet and Bowling In Japan

Fireglow is a rock and roll band from Sydney. We play a blend of 60s and 70s inspired original music and they're ready to rock the joint out tonight! There's not enough of this stuff going around anymore so get in while its hot!

Oxford Poet are back, last playing the Big Day Inn they're going to tear up the carpet once more supporting their friends Fireglow. Having being born in the back of a van named Helga, Oxford Poet doesn't let you assume its genre identity. This 5-piece musical baby combines riff-driven melodies with soothing synth sounds to induce a groove only a poet could describe.

Then there's Bowling In Japan backing them up too. The band—featuring Honeysett on vocals, Tom Fraser on vocals/rhythm guitar, Dean Alic on back-in vocals/lead guitar, Joss Taylor on bass and Gian Timothy on drums—got their start back in 2017, just a group of students from the Australian Institute of Music jamming after class. But for the band formerly known as Lettuce Shred, it was time for a change. It was time to construct a new image and forge a new path.

Tonights gonna be another wicked night of original music at Hornsby Inn!
