Flowers In a Vase: 4-Day Botanic Art Workshop

This exciting 4-day Botanic Art workshop with Helen Burrows will explore design elements of line, shape, colour and texture. Flowers and Vases are our subject as we consider and examine flowers in the context of design and how this subject has been interpreted historically, enriching your understanding of paintings of this genre.

Helen will guide you through planned exercises with step-by-step procedures to help and encourage the analysis of your final composition. Using graphite and watercolour techniques, you will produce a beautiful watercolour painting of a vase of flowers. Be prepared to have plenty of fun as we experience “Flowers in a Vase”.

Places are limited. A full materials list will be provided upon registration. Workshops are suitable for students with some botanical art experience.
