Created to celebrate International Women’s Day is FO[R]epast—an event that invites visitors to bring a plate and settle in for a chat—we want to hear all about it! Tables of women in the QVWC’s historic Victoria Room can undoubtedly come up with some great conversations.

This event will be facilitated by artist Jamie Lewis who specializes in feeding the art of conversation with food and provocation. Together with ten table hosts from a range of professional backgrounds including sports, art, public service, science, and more Jamie will prod, push and smooth discussions about place, places, placemaking in the context of host specialisations, with questions inspired by this year’s IWD theme #BalanceforBetter

Better the balance, better the world. How will you celebrate women's achievements on Friday March 8, by calling for a gender-balanced world? These questions and many, many more will be discussed over two hours during a picnic dinner with dancing. Table hosts include Kath Duncan –stay tuned for more info on table hosts.

Admission is free, bookings are encouraged online. Soft drinks and nibbles provided. BYO food, extra drinks and friends.
