The Alliance Française de Newcastle and event sponsors Newcastle Film Society and Hunter Imaging Group invite you to the 2019 French Fridays Bastille Day film. The evening begins at 6pm with our Little French Market stallholders offering delicious treats and French-themed gifts.

At 7pm, step into Event Cinemas’ luxurious VMAX screening room to view One Nation, One King: It’s 1789. The Bastille has been stormed and a breath of liberty blows through the streets of Paris. Françoise, a young washerwoman, and Basile, without a family or a name, discover the exhilarations of love and revolution.

After the film, join us in Event Cinemas Gold Class Lounge to continue the celebration. Purchase a beverage from the extensive drinks menu and enjoy the complimentary grazing table for French Friday patrons. Show your ticket to One Nation, One King for entry.

Our new home is Event Cinemas Kotara at Westfield Kotara Rooftop, corner of Northcott Drive and Park Avenue. All films have English subtitles. Show your Alliance Française or Newcastle Film Society membership card at the ticket counter. For further information, check the event page or call the Cinema at (02) 4952 0900.
