Giant Clam is an instrumental Prog-math quintet based in Melbourne. Containing members from Grotto, Lopaka, Future Corpse and Space Cadet, Giant Clam plays eclectic songs, with a heavy focus on rhythm and odd time signatures.

Beautiful Bedlam are a quirky combination of guitar, bass, drums and keys/vocals. Formed from the ashes of Melbourne prog stalwarts A Lonely Crowd, they deliver a unique brand of unpredictable progressive/alternative/jazz/math rock.

Sydney trio No Mandate brings its mix of sparse dub grooves, heavy desert riffs and angular mathcore to Melbourne for the first time. The Bombay Rock gig is the last of a ten-date tour to celebrate the release of their debut release on Tenzenmen.

All three members of No Mandate are seasoned post/math/chamber/prog/punk musicians from forward-thinking bands such as Hinterlandt, Seims, Meniscus, Godswounds, Captain Kickarse, Snob Club and many more.

Musical virtuoso Kat Hunter's band Lack the Low will kick off the night with math-inspired avant-pop music. Hunter weaves and soars Thom Yorke-esque vocals, complemented by dense instrumentation and triggered brass.

You could find yourself stunned by the towering highs and smooth lows of her vocal range; losing yourself in the orchestral piano compositions or even appreciative of the unusual drumming as you try to tap out the beats on your leg.
